The level of care is reasonably flexible from helping with daily household tasks to medical assistance, with a level of nursing care. All care is tailored to support individual needs. How often we visit and for how long each visit lasts, depends upon an assessment of your needs. People are now choosing to live in their homes for as long as possible. The main benefits of receiving end of life care at home is that it allows somebody to spend their last months, weeks and days in the place where they feel most at ease and safe: their home.
This places them in the company of someone they know and trust whilst receiving palliative care. As well as being reassuring for the person receiving care, knowing this can give peace of mind to families and close friends too.
Our carers are trained on end-of-life practices. We will collaborate with all professionals through a person centred approach allowing you to live as long as possible.
